People naturally want to feel in control of their experience. With the power and flexibility to choose how, where and when they work, empowered employees can feel fulfilled in their work and daily lives.
A common misconception is that people want to work less. The reality is that people want the ability to participate in all that life has to offer without resenting the work that ties them to robotic schedules, lifestyles and inhuman productivity patterns.
People want to treat their careers as part of the overall balance. People want to contribute, to succeed, to have a professional life, but they want to do it in a way that is meaningful to their personal lives.
